Escape into the Shadows

I tried too hard
to be noticed,
I tried to be someone 
I was not;

waiting and waiting
I watch time slowly tick away
as another day dawns
I watch the world scurry around;

I wanted to be someone,
I wanted to be famous,
I wanted life and
I wanted love;

I wanted a lot of things
that were out of reach
as I sink in slowly
under the weight of expectations;

I tried to be what they
wanted me to be,
I tried to be what I was
not meant to be;

I tried too hard
I pushed too far
and I went too far;

with a forced smile,
 

and  a fake laughter
to cover my tracks
I escape into the shadows
and try to fight this one out,
all alone;

Over cast

Thunder and lightning,

it’s been raining all night,
standing under an umbrella,
i am drenched to the bone;

its’ been like this for quite sometime,

cloudy and overcast,
dark clouds lingering in the horizon,
threatening to flood the land below;

drawing a parallel,

ma life has been like this,
dark, gloomy and overcast,
ready to burst anytime;

i tried to take shelter,

i tried to do things that will protect me,
i tried and i did,
but i could not escape;

stuck, as i am, deeply into it,

the dark forces of life seem to be
taking control of  ma life,
and pushing me towards the brink;

i tried to run away,

but with legs bound by chains,
i could not even move an inch;

i tried to close my eyes,
 

but the darkness is even more frightening;

 as i wade through the storm,
completely drenched and
soaked to the bone,
the rain keeps falling;

 as i watch the sky turn pale and grey and overcast with clouds,
darkness slowly sets in from all directions,
standing under an umbrella,
i sit there, waiting for the light (sunrise),
on a world that is getting darker and darker (Scarier);

Kis se kahu kya chahiye mujhe..

After India’s victorious performance against the Lankans , Question in front of us is :

Who got us the Cup ?

Is it the highest scorer from India in the World Cup , the batting maestro “Sachin Tendulkar” or the all round performer Yuvraj  , the highest wicket taker in the world cup and Indian bowling mainstay Zaheer Khan , or Captain cool Dhoni with his witty performance in the Finals , or Gambhir for playing sensibly under pressure in Finals , or Raina for taking us through quarters and semis……………………

Answer may be the “Team Performance” which helped us to achieve  World Cup which until now only Kapil Dev's Indian team got us in 1983 and after 28 long yrs Dhoni’s Indian team got it for us , we can say that every single individual performed upto its fullest whether its  Sachin , Yuvraj , Dhoni , Gambhir , Raina , Zaheer , Nehra , Munaf , Virat , Bhajji & everbody else……………………

Now what will be the next target for Dhoni , he has won almost all the accolades i.e First T20 World Cup , No. 1 ranking in Tests and finally the much awaited Cricket World Cup after 28 yrs , so what's next …………….

As of now we can only hope for the best and wish there are many  more to come in future for India with Sachin’s 100 Century the topmost priority……………..

Can India win the World Cup 2011 ????????????

Does, India no.2 in ICC ODI Rankings , strongest batting lineup on cards , have any chances of winning the world cup 2011 after a dismal show against the so called Chokers

(South Africa) …………..????????????????

Boasting of a very strong batting line up , Indian batting fell like a pack of cards against the Africans and also the English , & also not convincing against the Irish and the Dutch. Only Tendulkar and Sehwag can’t win you all the matches all the times , besides them there are 9 other players in the team , when will they prove their worth ?

Above all what people say is that whenever Tendulkar scores a century India losses , now is that a perfect excuse to lose the match , what more can you expect from a 38yr old legend who’s been serving the country for more than 21yrs and still scoring centuries upon centuries.

Before World cup Indian team was saying that we will win this world cup for Tendulkar , but vice versa is happening , Tendulkar as usual is doing it for us , for our country , for DHONI………

Common India atleast do it for the Sponsors and Advertisers , unka kya hoga if you guys don’t reach the finals , do it for the prize money’s sake , do it for your high selling rates in IPL if not for People and the pride of country , do it for yourself guys……………..

Go India Go or rather I say Tendulkar and Sehwag atleast you keep on going ……………..

Ind vs England reviews

After a struggling win against the minnows Bangladesh, it was the turn of England to rip apart the  frail Indian bowling attack , if a team can’t save a huge 338 runs target then is it worthy to expect  that this team will win the world cup ????

England skipper Andrew Strauss single handedly took the match away from us , but kudos to Zak for showing some grit and bring us back in the game and we managed a tie which was worth winning for us.

Piyush Chawla , the much hyped leggie had almost cost us the match with

2 mighty blows of his bowling in the 49^th over  by English talenders , it was again the batsmen who saved the day for India ,great Sachin Tendulkar who smashed his 5^th century of world cup got india to a greta start with Gambhir and Yuvraj also shown some grit.

Again the question is with such a dismal bowling attack can india lift the world cup 2011, coz with only a strong batting line up u can’t go too far , hope in the next match we will got to see Ashish Nehra  on the field as a specialist bowler and do some good to indian bowling reputation, the next opponent india face in the world cup are the Irish(Ireland), hope they don’t make a a merry of the indian bowling......................
